Biogeography is considered as Geography of the Biosphere, and is dedicated to the description of :
life forms distribution throughout the earth’s expanse,
movement, life, nature and man rhythms
natural landscape
anthropic landscape
and, following Gabriel ROUGERIE : the diversity of life’s manifestations, throughout the globe and its history : that is to say the expression, by societies, of their relation with Nature
For all the works presented on www.biogeographie.com, we are greatly indebted to Pr. Gabriel ROUGERIE, Paris 7 University, and Pr. Hilgard O’Reilly STERNBERG, Berkeley University (especially concerning the Amazon)
